Product Description

Brief Description

This is a Z-Folding Stacking Machine for Prismatic Lithium-ion Battery Cells, and the operating process is as following:
  1. Operators manually load the cathode sheet cassette and anode sheet cassette onto the respective feeding stations (cathode & anode) of the equipment.

2. Dual robotic suction cup systems:

  • Extract individual anode/cathode sheets from cassettes

  • Perform vision-based alignment (CCD positioning)

  • Precisely stack sheets on the folding platform

3. Manual loading of separator roll onto pneumatic expansion shaft, followed by:

  • Automatic unwinding with servo tension control

  • Real-time edge detection for automatic deviation correction

  • Reciprocating separator oscillation for alternating anode/cathode stacking

4. After stacking completion:

  • Separator heat-cutting initiates next cell stacking cycle

  • Robotic transfer to taping station for automatic U-type tab sealing
    Taped cells are then:
    Transferred to hot-pressing station for lamination
    Automatically discharged via lifting platform after compression
